The Gooding Accounts’ team are celebrating after being listed in the Employer of the Year category for the second year in a row. Accounting Excellence are the most prestigious UK awards for the accountancy sector and cover the entire UK, so it’s an honour to be named amongst the top 5 employers for 2024-2025. We look forward to joining other accountancy professionals at the Awards Ceremony in September, and hope to bring the award back to Wiltshire!

Gooding Accounts was praised for its commitment to training – with GT Academy cited as a key to their employees’ ongoing success. The flexibility of small group teaching at the specialist accountancy training centre allows for tuition to be adapted to suit the needs of individual, allowing for some outstanding exam results for accountancy trainees from all of the firms’ Wiltshire offices.
Commitment to delivering ongoing pastoral support to the entire the team was seen as a huge positive. Every member of the team has weekly face to face sessions to allow them to celebrate good work as well as raise any concerns, either personal or work related which can then be swiftly resolved. 2024 also saw the appointment of a HR lead to ensure compliance for the business and provide a neutral point of contact for all employees.
