We are delighted to share the news that Gooding Accounts has recently acquired Haines Watts, a well-respected accountancy practice based in the centre of Trowbridge. With partner Matthew looking to retire, the acquisition provides longevity of support for both the Haines Watts’ team and their clients. This is an exciting step forward for Gooding Accounts allowing us to grow our client base in Wiltshire as we begin to expand the team at our new headquarters on the White Horse Business Park.
Some of the many reasons the acquisition felt like the right move is that Gooding Accounts’ values and processes align so closely with those of Haines Watts. This shared approach means that clients can expect the same integrity, personal service, and commitment to excellence they are used to, with the added benefit of the additional services that we can provide.
As part of the acquisition, we’re thrilled to welcome Lucy Lewis and Yung Kwok to the Gooding Accounts team. After a short transition period they’re now settling in well in their new home at Holloway House on the White Horse Business Park (not far from their old office on Poplar Lane, Trowbridge.) Both Lucy and Yung bring a huge amount of experience and knowledge to the team, and they’ll continue to provide the same personalised service their clients have been used to. We’d also like to thank Matthew and Linda for all their hard work helping welcome clients to Gooding Accounts and wish them both all the very best for their retirement.
