On Friday 10 July 2026, Gooding Accounts very own Owen Miller will take to the pitch at Larkhall Athletic Football Club as part of the Camella 6-a-Side Charity Tournament, helping to raise funds and awareness for the incredible work carried out by Bath based charity Mentoring Plus.
While we’d normally be keen to field a full team, the tournament coincides with Gooding Accounts annual Charity Golf Day, where many of our colleagues will be busy helping to ensure that event runs smoothly. As a result, Owen will proudly represent the firm alongside the Camella team for what promises to be a brilliant afternoon of football, fundraising and community spirit.
Organised by Camella Estate Agents, the tournament is designed to bring together local businesses from across Bath and Wiltshire for a fun, friendly and inclusive day of healthy competition. Teams will consist of six players, with squads of up to ten people, and players of all abilities are encouraged to take part.
The event is about far more than football. There will be entertainment, food and drinks throughout the day, followed by presentations, a raffle and post-match refreshments in the clubhouse. It’s a great opportunity for local businesses to connect, enjoy some time outdoors and support a worthwhile cause.
The tournament is raising funds for Mentoring Plus, a local charity dedicated to supporting children and young people across Bath and North East Somerset. Through mentoring programmes, activities and tailored support, the charity helps young people build confidence, resilience and positive futures. Every pound raised through the tournament will directly support their vital work within the local community.
